    I can see the whole web page? No kidding.

    ha ha ha yep…its a big iphone

  6. chieffw says:

    This appears to be a real tech demo. Steve’s highlights were: It has Internet, you can listen to music, it has a virtual keyboard. O REALLY?? WHAT TOUCHSCREEN DEVICE DOESN’T?? I was really disappointed by this. : / They got lazy with it and are just trying to push a new product that’s substandard. They should’ve worked hard on making a highly modified Snow Leopard instead of going cheap with a bigger iPhone : /

    lame!

  8. Macinndrew says:

    What? this will clearly be Apple’s most popular product for years, it’s only $499 don’t forget!

  9. tatoot says:

    @Macinndrew remember that it’s running on the iPhone OS…

    but anyway, iPad is a piece of shit, not innovative in any way, and waste of money…

  10. Macinndrew says:

    no, it can run more, just you can’t see more than one at a time… so it’s not a problem

  11. capetown99 says:

    Its a Touch…whohooo

  12. TheBangyoudead says:

    failpad

  13. romancandlefight says:

    [it can only run one app at a time]

  14. wooooooooooooo12 says:

    devices like this will take over netbooks – (as mr.job said “netbooks are just cheap laptops that run 20 year old pc software) btw there will prob be a youtube/flash app made for it that allows media playback – very unlikely apple would let that happen especially with a company like adobe

  15. Killorkable says:

    It’s a giant iPod Touch. The only difference is that the iPod Touch fit anywere, and the iPad it’s more dificul to transport.

  16. Macinndrew says:

    you can always add one of the old fashioned keyboards if you want.

  17. Macinndrew says:

    it replaces textbooks, books, magazines, newspapers, cds, dvds, maps, invoices, receipts, on and on… they’ve got another big winner, that’s for sure!

  18. Macinndrew says:

    it has more apps, is touch based, not mouse based, has a better screen, longer battery life, more portable… much less weight, on and on…

  19. chipbeats82 says:

    i’m sorry but this thing is not revolutionary.. a laptop is better anyway, at least you dont have to hold the damn thing while youre using it. why is new tech against keyboards anyway? I enjoy typing still. lame, lame, lame.

  20. Macinndrew says:

    well, that’s because they are all reporters, not computer fans…

    @macindrew
    it’s a start, the hp tabs are still lightyears ahead of the ipad. mac needs to put osx on insted of dinky iphoneos

  24. sausagenmuff says:

    @wooooooooooooo12
    umm no. they used there own processor for battery life..etc.. desktop processors like intel’s do not work well in for example cell phones.. which the ipad is fairly similar to.

    I love how the audience even knows that this isn’t new. Try to hear ANYONE clap or cheer after he says the name. Nobody seems to care.
