I sync with rsync in ubuntu, if set up right, all I need to do is a terminal command and it syncs everything, 100% customizable as I wrote the script.
Anroid automatically wins for me for the ability to make shapewriter as the default keyboard (or any keyboard I want actually).
The final leg up is googles openness with unofficial roms. you do void your warrenty but AT LEAST they allow you to do this if you want. Apple hates the dev team, and has tried to sue them into the ground before.
i wounder how good it would be for microsoft to allow their zune music stuff to play via an opensource OS like the droid, since so many phones can use the software, it would allow them to really blossom albeit i dont know much about the new windows phone stuff, they might already do it there
im 20 and i know who steely dan is. they kick ass. but then again im probably not the average person when it comes to music.

The Palm pre on sprint has WebOS 1.4, not the Pre plus on verizon… maybe in a couple of days…

we need a phone with the multitasking ability of the Pre Plus Web OS, the openness of the Nexus One/android, and the fun and ease of use of the iPhone… something like that

I think it should also get a point for multitasking and it can also connect to itunes which is convenient if you have an ipod and you want to use your palm pre plus as your music player
